“Cypress Impressions” was photographed at the Point Lobos Reserve located on a peninsula south of Monterey, CA. The reserve is 5.36 square miles and home to the Monterey Cypress which is native to the area. The tree is depicted as a resilient symbol of endurance over the years having deep roots and a symbiotic relationship to the ubiquitous ocean fog which helps sustain it Monterey Cypress typically live 200 years with some living 400 years.
