“Harbor Impressions” was photographed at an urban harbor in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It combines several photos of buildings with a photo of the vessels in the harbor so that parts of the city appear to be mirrored across the harbor scene. The mirrored imagery explores the repeated vertical patterns of lights and darks to create an interplay of rhythms and forms providing a dynamic impression of the harbor.
